Boulder County Garage Fire

On December 24th, 2022 at 17:20 Boulder County Communications (1800) dispatched Boulder Rural Fire Rescue, Mountain View Fire Rescue and Louisville Fire Protection District to a reported garage fire in the 5500 block of Bowron Place in Gunbarrel. Engine 2301 arrived to a medium two-story single-family dwelling with smoke and flames showing from the garage and stretched a line in for fire attack with Ambulance 2321. Engine 2204 established the water supply to Engine 2301 and then started the primary search. Battalion 2260 arrived and assumed command, assigned Tower 2218 to the roof and Medic 2722 as medical. Crews got the fire under control and started overhaul and the investigation. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
