During the week of September 24th, 2022 career firefighters from Boulder County and surrounding areas trained on Mass Casualty Incidents (MCIs). MCI skills were refreshed as well as new techniques taught. To end their session of training, these firefighters went through a scenario with the help of screaming and moulage victim actors. This scenario is one that the firefighters and officers never want to be a part of, but if that day was to come, they will be ready. Mountain View Fire Rescue, Boulder Rural Fire Rescue, Lafayette Fire Department, Louisville Fire Protection District, Boulder Open Space & Mountain Parks, Longmont Fire Department, North Metro Fire Rescue Dsitrict, Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Strategic Medical Research & Training and others.
