Adams County Rubbish Fire

On September 29th, 2023 at 20:26 Denver Fire Department was alerted of a commercial structure fire at 5500 N. Franklin St. in unincorporated Adams County. Crews arrived at a large rubbish/recycling fire and the address was updated to 5601 York St. Crews started fire attack and requested Adams County Fire Rescue since it was in their district. Denver set-up aerial for master stream operations from Tower 9, Truck 4 and Truck 12 to extinguish the fire. Battalion 11 arrived and assumed command with active fire and Engine 13 assisted with fire attack. Truck 11  No injuries were reported.
