Arvada Safety Day 2022

On September 30th, 2023 Arvada Fire Protection District held their annual Safety Day at the Training Center with the community coming out to enjoy fun activities including tours of the fire apparatus, meeting firefighters and first responders. The National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA) held a live burn demonstration. Med Evac landed and tour of the helicopter. Arvada had their new Brush 59 and STAR 51. Friends of Arvada Fire, Arvada Police Department, Wheat Ridge Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff, St. Anthony Hospital, American Red Cross, Jefferson County Open Space, Jefferson County Communications Center Authority (JeffCom 911), Colorado State Patrol, Cert Emergency Prep and others were on hand with interactive booths and information about safety and emergency preparedness.
