Aurora MVA with Extrication

On July 2nd, 2023 at approximately 12:30 Aurora Fire Rescue and South Metro Fire Rescue were dispatched to an injury accident on E. Hampden Ave. about one half mile east of S. Picadilly Rd. Aurora Engine 11 arrived on scene, found a vehicle on its roof and multiple patients. Engine 11 also advised that two people may need extrication. In total, two adults and three children were transported by ambulance to local hospitals, some with serious injuries. E. Hampden Ave. remained closed for about two hours while the Colorado State Patrol investigated the crash.
