Evergreen Structure Fire

At 00:46 on February 7th, 2023 Evergreen Fire Protection District to a house fire in the 3800 block of Spring Valley Trail. Jeffcom advised of multiple callers reporting flames and smoke showing from the structure and may be spreading to the trees. Jefferson County Sheriff deputies arrived to a fully involved structure fire. 108 arrived to a two-story fully involved defensive fire and requested a 2nd alarm. Due to no close hydrants and the a long narrow driveway, command on scene upgraded the call to a 3rd alarm for additional resources and personnel. Crews set up water shuttle operations before getting the fire under control and crews started an extended overhaul and investigation. Nobody was home when the fire ignited and the structure was a total loss. The fire cause is under investigation. Additional information was provided by Evergreen Fire Rescue
