Residential Structure Fire

On October 22nd, 2023 at 15:07 Sable Altura Fire Rescue, Aurora Fire Rescue and Bennett-Watkins Fire Rescue were dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 2580 I-70 Service Rd. in Adams County. Units arrived on scene and found a single family residence fully engulfed in fire which spread to the vegetation west of the home. Additional departments were requested to respond with brush trucks and tenders. Crews were on scene about two hours extinguishing the fire and mopping up hot spots. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
