On June 21st, 2023 at 21:32 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to Red Rocks Amphitheatre, 18300 W. Alameda Pkwy to assist Stadium Medical Paramedics with a mass casualty incident (MCI) after a a hail storm which was reported to be up to golf ball ball size. The crowd had little warning before the storm hit to take cover which injured nearly 100 people. Seven people were transported to area hospitals with cuts and broken bones. 80 to 90 were treated on scene by Stadium Medical and West Metro paramedics. The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the area. The concert was cancelled. Additional information provided West Metro Fire Rescue
