Community Fire Safety Day

The South Adams County Fire Department held a Community Fire Safety Day at Station 28 on November 11, 2023. The community was invited out to meet with first responders and learn valuable safety tips. Festivities included station tours, apparatus tours, car seat checks, fun safety activities, hot cocoa and cookies. SAC conducted turkey fryer and fire sprinkler demonstrations. The Adams County Sheriff’s Office, Colorado Department of Transportation, Colorado State Patrol, National Fire Sprinkler Association, Platte Valley Ambulance Service and the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge participated in the event.
