Mountain View Structure Fire

On August 28th, 2023 at 21:12 Boulder County Communications (1800) dispatched Mountain View Fire Rescue and Louisville Fire Protection District to a structure fire in the 1000 block of Eldorado Drive in Superior. Dispatch advised that they were receiving multiple callers reporting heavy fire on the back porch and a “Fill The Box” was requested. Tower 2215 arrived to a working fire on the Charlie side of a single-family home and pulled a line in for offensive fire attack with Medic 2225. Crews worked heavy fire that extended into the basement area and the main and 2nd floor. Engine 2703 arrived and pulled a 2nd line in on the Alpha side for fire attack with Medic 2722. Engine 2702 pulled another line off Tower 2215 to the Charlie side and Battalion 2760 arrived and assumed command. The fire was put under control at 21:41 and crews started an extended overhaul. All the residents got out of the home and no injuries were reported. The fire was contained to one home and the cause is under investigation by the MAFIT (Multi-Agency Fire Investigation Team).
