South Metro Structure Fire

On June 22nd, 2024 at approximately 18:45 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 22826 E. Tufts Place in Arapahoe County. Engine 23 arrived on scene and found smoke showing from the residence. Additional units were dispatched to the confirmed structure fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire in the kitchen and spent about thirty minutes ventilating the building. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
