Arvada 2nd Alarm Structure Fire

On May 17th, 2024 at 15:09 Arvada Fire Protection District responded to a reported structure fire in the 7400 block of W. 82nd Way. Jeffcom advised that a shed was on fire spreading to the roof. Engine 55 arrived to a working fire and pulled a 1 3/4 for fire attack with Medic 55. Battalion 51 arrived and assumed command in the offensive strategy and to start a 2nd alarm with two structures on fire. Crews started the primary searches on the two structures which was all clear. Engine 53 assisted with the water supply and Medic 57 as medical. Crews got control of the fires and the rest of the responses were cancelled. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation. Additional information provided by Arvada Fire Protection District
