Aurora Apartment Fire

On September 5th, 2024 at 19:11 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported structure fire at Acadia at Cornerstar Apartments, 16115 E. Easter Circle. Aurora 911 advised responding units that the reporting party had smoke in a third floor apartment. Units arrived on scene and traced the source of the smoke to an electrical problem. Crews were on scene about thirty minutes neutralizing the problem and ventilating the building. No injuries were reported.
