Boulder County Garage Fire

On November 26th, 2024 at 15:29 Boulder County Communications dispatched Hygiene Fire Protection District, Lyons Fire Protection District and Lefthand Fire Protection District to a possible structure fire in the 11000 N. 66th St. in unincorporated Boulder County. Dispatch advised that 911 caller reporting flames showing and the call was upgraded to a full structure fire response. Battalion 2860 arrived in command to a small residential structure with a working fire from a detached garage. The occupants of the residence were able to evacuate themselves safely prior to first responders arriving on-scene. There were no injuries during this incident and the structure sustained moderate damage. The Multi-Agency Fire Investigation Team (MAFIT) will conduct the investigation into the cause and origin of the fire. St. Vrain Road was closed in both directions and N. 66th St. during the fire operations. Additional information provided by Boulder County Sheriff’s Office
