Federal Heights Mobile Home Fire

On February 4th, 2024 at 05:57 Federal Heights Fire Department with Westminster Fire Department, North Metro Fire Rescue District and Thornton Fire Department on a structure fire in the 9800 block of N. Federal Blvd. Engine 41 arrived to a single-wide mobile home with flames showing from underneath the trailer, and pulled a 1 3/4 for fire attack, the primary search and their own water supply with Medic 41. Battalion 1 arrived and assumed command in the offensive strategy on the Alpha side. Truck 62 with Medic 62 pulled a 2nd line off Engine 41 to provide structure protection on the Delta exposure. Engine 72 assigned with a 2nd water supply on Chestnut St. and Medic 2 set-up for medical. Crews worked the fire in freezing temperatures before getting the deep seated fire under control.
