Clear Creek Canyon MVC

On January 9, 2024 at 08:47 Jeffcom dispatched Golden Fire Department and Stadium Medical to respond to a motor vehicle crash on Hwy. 6 (Clear Creek Canyon) west of mile marker 263. Medic 21 arrived to a vehicle off the road in Clear Creek with two occupants on the roof and air bags deployed. Crews established a steep slope rope system to bring the victims to the roadside. Stadium Medical transported both patients to a nearby trauma center with non life threatening injuries. Both direction of the highway was closed during the operations. The vehicle was removed from the creek shortly after GFD crews cleared the scene. Additional information provided by Golden Fire Department
