Golden Gate Wildland Fire Training

The Golden Gate Fire Protection District held a S-130 basic wildland firefighter training field day on April 13th, 2024. Wildland firefighters practiced with water delivery, manual fire line constriction, use of firing devices, use of fire shelters, and other essential knowledge to be safe and effective in the field. The Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control, Golden Fire Department and Jeffcom 911 assisted with the training.
