Front Range 2nd Alarm Fire

On August 13th, 2024 around 01:10 Front Range Fire Rescue Truck 2918 was dispatched to a commercial fire alarm at the Lazydays RV, 4777 Marketplace Drive in Johnstown. Truck 2018 arrived and located a fire from a RV trailer inside service bay and upgraded the call to a working commercial structure fire. Crews started fire attack on the main fire and command requested a 2nd alarm with fire inside the building. The fire was put under control with extensive ventilation operations and extended overhaul. No injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Platteville Gilcrest Fire Protection District provided district coverage while crews were on scene of the fire.
