William “Bill” Farr Memorial

On June 14th, 2024 Thornton Police Department Commander William “Bill” Farr memorial service was held at the Rocky Mountain Christian Church in Frederick. Bill passed away on June 5th, 2024 after being diagnosed with cancer, and during his cancer journey he continued to work as the Division Commander fighting cancer like a warrior, he remained active in duck hunting, fishing, camping, ATV riding and going to elk camp. No matter how sick he was, he still pushed forward and never quit. Bill became an officer in 1997 with the Thornton Police Department. He was a beloved husband to Melissa, dad to Hannah, Noah and Eli. His dedication and leadership will never be forgotten in the Thornton Police Department. His legacy will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
