South Metro Commercial Fire

At 22:30 on April 7th 2024 South Metro Emergency Communications Center dispatched South Metro Fire Rescue to the 18500 block of Pony Express Drive at Bobcat of the Rockies in Parker for a possible commercial structure fire. Parker Police Officers were the first to arrive on scene and reported that tired and other materials were on fire behind the business. Crews were on scene for two hours extinguishing the fire, checking for hotspots, containing hazardous materials runoff, and decontaminating their equipment. No injuries were reports by civilians or responders. Cause of the fire is under investigation by South Metro Fire Rescue.
