West Metro Medic 11 Accident

At 11:42 on June 25th, 2024 West Metro Fire Rescue Medic 11 responding to Lutheran Medical Center was involved in MVA on northbound Wadsworth Blvd. at W. 32nd Ave. in Wheat Ridge. Medic 11 advised Jeffcom that they were rear ended and needing 2 medics to the scene, one for their patient to transport and one for the vehicle that was involved. Medic 16 transported Medic 11’s patient. Medic 1 transported one patient to a local hospital with unknown injures. One lane was closed on Wadsworth Blvd. during the accident.
