South Metro Commercial Fire

On September 20th, 2025 at 01:02 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a working commercial fire at 2020 S. Parker Rd. Dispatch received a 911 call reporting smoke and flames coming from a restaurant. Engine 21 arrived with visible flames within the structure and flames from the roof and started fire attack. Aurora Engine 11 arrived established the water supply. Crews took an offensive stance and the fire was reported as under control at approximately 01:45. The most extensive damage occurred to the restaurant Gyros & Kabab. The strip mall complex was shut down with no water, gas or electricity. The scene was cleared at approximately 03:30, with no injuries reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation by SMFR Fire Marshal’s Office.
