Vehicle Collision Involving Structure

At 15:45 on November 1st, 2025 Castle Rock Fire & Rescue Department was dispatched to a traffic collision involving a structure at 729 Barranca Drive. A 911 caller reported to Douglas Regional 911 Communications Center that a vehicle drove into a Verizon store, and someone was injured. First arriving Medic 155 found an SUV against the building with damage to a pillar and broken glass. The store was evacuated as a precaution while CRFD checked the building for structural integrity issues, and none were found. One person was transported non-emergent to a local hospital.
