Arvada Trapped MVA

On January 16th, 2026 at 18:29 Arvada Fire Protection District was dispatched to a head-on MVA on Hwy. 93 at the intersection of W. 82nd Ave. Jeffcom 911 advised of a head-on MVA with a possible party ejected and one party trapped. Engine 59 arrived to a two-vehicle heavy damage head-on collision with one party on the ground. Crews found one patient inside the vehicle not trapped with no extrication needed and the second patient was not in a vehicle. The two patients were transported emergent to a local hospital by Medic 58 and Medic 56 for further evaluations and treatments. No other injuries were reported.
