Foothills National Night Out

On August 4th, 2026 Foothills Fire Protection District hosted their National Night Out event at the Lookout Mountain Station, 67 S. Lookout Mountain Rd. The family-oriented event was complete with food & snacks, vendors and crew members showed off their skills with an extrication exhibition. Community members had the chance to explore some of the vehicles and apparatus, while crew and staff members were available to answer questions. Highland Rescue, Genesee Fire Protection District, Alpine Rescue Team, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Wildland Fire Management, Front Range Animal Evacuation Team and others were on hand at the event.
