Officer Yuri Thomas Funeral

A celebration service of Yuri’s life was held on September 24th, 2018 at REZ.Church 6502 E. Crossroads Blvd. in Loveland. Yuri O. Thomas, age 32 of Johnstown, Colorado went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, September 17th, 2018.

Yuri was born on February 3, 1986 in St. Vincent. He came to the United States in 2010 to pursue his life-long dream of becoming a police officer. He met and married his wife Nola Thomas on November 17th, 2012. He was preceded in death by his mother, Angela Thomas. Yuri is survived by his wonderful wife Nola, his step-daughter Asha, and his two dogs Moses and Sarah and several extended family members.

Yuri fulfilled his life long dream when he became a police officer with the Johnstown Police Department. He has served with the Police Department since February of 2018. He lived a life of excellence. He enjoyed interacting with the community and had a desire to make an impact with the youth.
