West Douglas County Fire Protection District

West Douglas County Fire Protection District (WDCFPD) is an all-volunteer department founded in 1980 when Sedalia Fire, Indian Creek Fire, and Jarre Canyon Fire merged resources. WDCFPD covers 56 square miles in Douglas County (Colorado) including the areas of Bee Rock, Cherokee Ranch, Daniels Park, Elephant Rock, Elk Canyon, Hier Valley, Hockaday Heights, Horseshoe Ranch, Indian Creek, Jarre Canyon, Jarre Creek, Lambert Ranch, Moonridge, Nighthawk Hills, Oak Valley, Pike National Forest, Pine Nook, Plum Creek, Rampart Range, Sedalia, Sprucewood, Stoneridge, Sunset Point, Twin Cedar & Wildcat Mountain. West Douglas County Fire Protection District has auto-aid and/or mutual-aid agreement with Castle Rock Fire & Rescue, Franktown Fire Protection District, Jackson 105 Fire Protection District, Mountain Communities Volunteer Fire Department, Palmer Lake Fire Department, and South Metro Fire Rescue.

West Douglas County Fire Protection District (130) is dispatched by South Metro Fire Dispatch Center (South Metro Fire Emergency Communications).
