Arvada Station 55
Station 55 – Lake Arbor
(District 51) Fire Station 55 (Station 5) is located at 8100 Vance Dr. and dedicated in 1973, renovation in 2012. Station 55 is a member of the North Area Technical Rescue Team.

(TRT-0001) 1998 Dodge Ram 3500 4×4 / SuperVac (SVI) (Light Rescue). TRT specialty includes building collapse, high-angle rescue, and trench collapse gear.

Station 5
Fire Station 5 at the current location on Vance Dr. Station 5 was received by the district from Watkin Homes as an inclusion fee for the Lake Arbor annexation into the fire district in May 1971. The station was constructed and placed into service December of 1973, in 2012 the station was renovation with an added area to the north-side of the building.

PUMPER 5
(E-0004) 1997 Pierce Dash (ED227) 1500 GPM (Waterous) pump, 750 gallon water tank and 20 gallon foam cell. Former Engine 1, also ran as Engine 2 and then ran as a training engine and reserve engine. Became Howard Volunteer Fire Department (Colorado) Engine in 2022.

FIREHOUSE DOG “RESCUE”
Station 55 mascot “Rescue” the station dog. Rescue is a Labrador Retriever mix, he was obtained from Safe Harbor Lab Rescue.
