North Routt Fire Protection District (NRFPD), founded in 1980 covering 441 square miles in Routt County (Colorado) including the areas of Clark, Cottonwood Gulch, Elk Ridge, Elk River, Glen Eden, Greenville Creek, Greenville Mine, Hahn’s Peak, Mill Creek, Reed Creek, Rock Creek & Round Mountain. North Routt Fire Protection District has mutual-aid or auto-aid agreements with the Oak Creek Fire Protection District, Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue, West Routt Fire Protection District & Yampa Fire Protection District.

North Routt Fire Protection District is dispatched by Routt County Communications.
