Barstow Fire Protection District (BFPD), covering 60 square miles in San Bernardino County (California) including the areas of Barstow Heights, Grandview, Irwin Estates, Lenwood, San Bernardino, Skyline East, Skyline North & Soapmine.

Barstow Fire Protection District was formed in 1926 as the Barstow Volunteer Fire Department and in 1957 the department changed from all-volunteer to a combination of volunteer and career personnel.

Barstow Fire Protection District has mutual-aid agreements with Daggett Volunteer Fire Department, Yermo / Calico Volunteer Fire Department and the Marine Corps Logistics Base Fire Department
