Newark Fire Protection District (NFPD), covering 64 square miles in Kendall County (Illinois) including the areas of Big Groove, Fern Dell, Fox, Fox River, Helmar, Millington, Mission, Roods Creek & Village of Newark. 

Newark Fire Protection District was formed in 1946, and in 1976 voters approved a referendum to establish a district wide ambulance service.
