Thornton Basement Fire

At 19:09 on July 22nd, 2018 Thornton Fire Department responded to a basement fire in the 900 block of E. 130th Circle at Corona St. Engine 74 arrived to a 2-story single family with smoke showing, pre-connect to the Alpha side for fire attack in the offensive strategy and requested a major incident tone. Battalion 71 arrived and assumed command, Engine 75 assigned to established a water supply to Engine 74. Engine 73 pulled a back-up line in and started primary search, Truck 6 arrived and assigned to the Delta side for roof ops. Crews found a fire in the basement and got a quick knock on the fire with no extension. No reported injuries and the fire is under investigation.
