Castle Rock Touch-A-Truck

The Castle Rock Police Department held their annual “Touch-A-Truck” event at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock on August 23rd, 2026. This yearly event was started in 2016, as a way to strengthen community bonds and to bring the community closer together. There were many vehicles to view and to tour. Castle Rock Fire & Rescue, Colorado Department of Transportation, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Colorado State Patrol, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Douglas County Office of Emergency Management Helicopter 5TA (N205TA), Greenwood Village Police Department, Elbert County Sheriff Office, Town of Castle Rock Public Works Department, Castle Rock Water Department, Douglas Regional 911 Communications, Douglas County School District Transportation, Denver Police Department, Franktown Fire Protection District, Westside Towing, U.S. Army Brass Band, Black Hills Energy and lots of others also participated in the event.
