Douglas County Vegetation Fire

On August 16th, 2025 at approximately 15:00 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported vegetation fire at 10326 E. Parker Rd. Brush 47 arrived on scene within minutes of the call and found a small fast moving brush fire that was spreading into a group of trees near a home. Due to the proximately of homes an urban interface response was requested. Crews were on scene over an hour extinguishing the fire and mopping up hots spots. No injures were reported and no structures were damaged.
