Hartsel Barn Fire

At 17:13 on February 28th, 2025, the Park County Emergency Communications Center dispatched the Hartsel Fire Protection District to the area of Park County Rd. 59, near Spinney Reservoir for a possible structure fire. On scene, crews reported a fully involved barn on fire and began fire attack. Mutua-aid was requested from neighboring departments to help contain the fire. The fire was brought under control at 17:59, with no injuries reported by civilians or responders. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
