Jefferson County C-470 Multi-Vehicle MVA

On June 13th, 2026 at 15:51 West Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to an MVA on C-470 near Bowles Ave.  Jeffcom 911 advised that reports of a possible trapped 4-vehicle MVA with one vehicle off the highway in a ditch. Engine 11 arrived to a multi-vehicle MVA with one vehicle rollover several yards off the highway with extensive damage and started checking for injuries. Truck 14 arrived and started extrication on one of the vehicles. District 2 arrived and assumed C-470 command and started 2 areas of operations with Zone 1 with Engine 13 and Medic 12 and Zone 2 with Engine 11, Truck 14 and Medic 13. The patient from Zone 2 was extricated and transported by Medic 13 to a local hospital with unknown injuries. The patient from Zone 1 was transported to a local hospital by Medic 12 with unknown injuries. One of the vehicles in the accident was a pickup which was towing a boat and had received heavy front-end damage and a third vehicle was located further down the roadway with extensive rear damage. The accident scene caused significant backups on both sides of C-470 and an increase of local street traffic was observed. The scene is under investigation.
