South Metro Grill Fire

On August 2nd, 2026 at approximately 18:30 South Metro Fire Rescue and Aurora Fire Rescue were dispatched to a reported residential structure fire in the 4600block of S. Ensenada St. in Centennial. Engine 23 arrived on scene and found a grill on file on the Charlie-Delta corner of the home. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire and kept damage to the exterior of the home. There was no extension into the home and no injuries were reported.
