Around 08:40 July 13th, 2026 Thornton Fire Department, North Metro Fire Rescue District and South Adams County Fire Department were dispatched to the 36oo block of E. 112th Way for a structure fire. Engine 73 and Medic 73 arrived with a working fire in the garage and Engine 73 pulled a 1 3/4″ line interior for fire attach and instructed Engine 75 to take a line to the Bravo side. As the fire progressed, additional 2 1/2″ was utilized and three additional Medic units were requested. Truck 62 set up on side Alpha and eventually utilized their ladder pipe into the garage area. Two patients were transported to a local hospital with unknown inquires. Two additional Engines were requested to relive crews for rehab. The American Red Cross was requested to the scene.
