West Metro Fire Rescue held live fire exercises at the old Mile High Inn and Suites Motel / Cherry Bomb Lounge at 11595 W. 6th Ave. at Union Blvd. in Lakewood from October 18th, 2005 to October 25th 2005. Area fire departments also trained in the building during those dates including Indian Hills Fire Rescue, Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District, Pleasant View Fire Department, Wheat Ridge Fire Protection District and others.
