Station 5 Open House

West Metro Fire Rescue held an open house at Station 5 on July 30th, 2010. This was the last open house at Station 5 which is located at 14055 W. 20th Ave. at Eldridge St. in Applewood. The station will be replaced at the same location in 2011. The station response area is bordered by Clear Creek on the north, W. Colfax Ave. on the south, Union St. to the east and Quaker St. on the west including the National Renewable Energy Campus, Applewood, Maple Grove, portions of the Coors Facility, Golden, Denver West, and Rolling Hills Country Club. This station has a dual-response with the Pleasant View Fire District and also with Station 6.
