Station 6 – Golden
Fire Station 6 is located at 15100 W. 6th Ave. Service Rd, across the street from the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, built in 1985 and is the former Lakewood Fire Department Station 6. Station 6’s response area includes the Colorado Mills Mall, Red Rocks Community College & three major highways: I-70, C-470 & 6th Ave. This station response area borders the City of Golden and includes a dual-response with the Pleasant View Fire District also with Station 5 and a mutual-aid agreement with the Golden Fire Department.
(P53) 2004 Piece Quantum (15442) 500 gallon water tank / 1250 gpm pump with 20 gallons of foam, also ran as Engine 3.
(P69) 1999 Ford F-550 4×4 XLT Super Duty / Central, twin to Brush 17, former Wheat Ridge Fire Protection District.
