Wheat Ridge Strip Mall Fire

At 11:35 on January 30th, 2011 Wheat Ridge Fire Protection District with auto-aid from Fairmount Fire Protection District & West Metro Fire Rescue was alerted to a possible commercial structure fire at Applewood Village Strip Mall, 3400 Youngfield St. in Wheat Ridge. Crews arrived to light smoke showing and started the investigation. Crews found smoke and a small fire in 3490 Youngfield St.unit and got the fire out quickly, and also checked the other units for extension including Tafolino’s Mexican Restaurant, no extension was found.
