Commerce City Commercial Fire

On July 3, 2015 at approximately 11:20 South Adams County Fire Department and Denver Fire Department were dispatched to a commercial structure fire at 5460 Colorado Blvd. in Commerce City.  Both departments received numerous calls and heavy black smoke could be seen around the city.  Firefighters arrived on scene, hit two separate hydrants and set up three aerial master streams.  It took approximately two hours to douse the blaze, mop up hot spots and ventilate the building. No injuries were reported.

Denver: Chief 4, Chief 5, Engine 7, Engine 9, Truck 9, Engine 10, Tower 15, Truck 19, Engine 26 & Truck 27
