South Adams County Pinning Ceremony

South Adams County Fire Department held their 2016 Pinning Ceremony at Adams City High School on January 30th, 2016. The department recognized, promoted or pinned three retirees, four lieutenants, a training officer, a training chief, two deputy chiefs, six fire inspectors and fourteen firefighters.

The department also honored three fallen service members from Commerce City by putting their names on something people can see every day. PFC Stanley G. Miller’s name is now emblazoned across the front of Engine 23, SGT Lynn Eldon Mince’s name is on the front of Engine 27 and SGT William G. Mendanhall’s name is on the front of Truck 28.
