The First Emergency Responders Day was held on August 4th, 2018 in Longmont with the Salute to Sirens and Safety event, which was on the grounds of the Boulder County Fairgrounds with displays of emergency equipment including Longmont Emergency Unit, Longmont Fire Department, Longmont Police Department, Mountain View Fire Rescue, AMR, Boulder Emergency Squad, Boulder County Sheriff, Northern Colorado Med Evac and more. The event is also part of the National Firefighter Combat Challenge and the Boulder County Fair.
