Pleasant View Attic Fire

At 23:10 on December 27th, 2018 JeffCom dispatched out Pleasant View Fire Department to a possible structure fire in the 670 block of Juniper St. in unincorporated Jefferson County with auto-aid from Golden Fire Department and Fairmount Fire Protection District. Engine 41 arrived to a working attic fire with smoke showing in a single-family dwelling, and laid in a dry line from W. 7th Ave. and started fast attack on the fire. Chief 41 arrived and assumed command, Engine 24 arrived and established the water supply to Engine 41. Crews found fire in the attic space on the Charlie-Delta corner, Truck 24 assigned as roof ops, and Medic 22 set-up as medical. Crews got a quick knock on the fire in the attic and started overhaul. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.
