Timberline Structure Fire

At approximately 09:01 on October 8th, 2018 Timberline Fire Protection District responded to a reported structure fire in the area of Bobcat Trail. First due apparatus confirmed a working 2-story structure fire with flames out the front. Engine 54 and Tender 57 arrived and deployed an attack line. Members completed an offensive transitional fire attack. The fire was marked under control in less than 45 minutes. Several pets were saved after the initial attack. Mutual-aid was request from Nederland Fire Protection DistrictCoal Creek Fire Protection District. Gilpin Ambulance Authority provided medical. The fire was caused by home construction, no reported civilian injuries except for one minor firefighter injury that occurred and was not transported.
