Adams County Quick Knock

At 15:25 on January 30th, 2019 Adams County Fire Rescue, South Adams County Fire Department, Federal Heights Fire Department, North Metro Fire Rescue District and Thornton Fire Department were dispatched to a structure fire in the 3100 block of E. 88th Ave. at the Chaparral Village Mobile Home Park. Adcom advised units en route that 911 caller reporting the stove is on fire with heavy black smoke. Battalion 21 arrived on scene with light smoke showing with evacuation, and command on the Alpha side. Truck 14 arrived and and started fire attack, and Truck 24 assigned with utilities. Crews got water on the fire and control of the fire quickly in the kitchen area. The fire was put under out at 15:34 with crews starting overhaul, and command requested Adams County Building Department to the scene. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.
