Ben Rodda Memorial

Benjamin E. Rodda was honored on April 22nd, 2019 at the Strasburg Community Church in Strasburg, followed by a motorcade and escort by the Federal Protection Agency from Bennett to Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver on Bennett-Watkins Fire Rescue Quint 91. Ben passed away on April 8th, 2019, he was loving christian husband and married for 32 years to his wife Judy, and a father of 4. Ben started out with the Bancroft Fire Protection District with 31 years, joined Sable Altura Fire Rescue as a volunteer for 8 years, and was part of the Sable Altura merge with Cunningham Fire Rescue in the 1990’s. Ben joined Bennett Fire Protection District for 10 years as a full volunteer, then moved to the auxiliary and helped with getting apparatus serviced for several more years, served with Bennett of the rank of Lt . before retiring. West Metro Fire Rescue Honor Guard was also part of the funeral to honor Ben.
