Golden Fire Department held their 10th annual Safety & Preparedness Day on September 14th, 2019 at Station 21 in downtown Golden. Kids of all ages came out to learn about fire safety including grease fires, live fire demonstrations, burn safety, face paintings, car seat checks, tour the emergency equipment and meet first responders. AMR, Pleasant View Fire Department, JeffCom, Colorado State Patrol, UCHealth, Jefferson County Open Space Park Rangers, American Red Cross and Golden Police Department were also on hand.
